The Project Promise Mentoring Alliance is a community-based effort to inspire and empower youth in grades 6-8 with a passion for learning and success. The primary goal of the Project Promise Mentoring Alliance is to develop an innovative continuum mentoring approach to helping middle school youth become confident and productive, stay in school and set goals for the future.  PPMA is a comprehensive and unique approach to meeting the needs of our middle school youth starting in grade 6 and continuing through high school.

The Project Promise Mentoring Alliance is a community collaborative which provides mentoring and support; academic enrichment and community service learning opportunities for youth in rural eastern North Carolina.

Currently our program supports youth in Lenoir, Pitt and Greene counties.

Young Women of Promise, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded on September 4, 2001.
